Q. Are there restaurants / cafes close by?
A. Yes there are a couple of cafes and a restaurant which is walking distance to your B&B. Additionally, there are great fish & chips just a walk away or you could use the BBQ facilities at your B&B and spend the evening on the terrace.

Q. Will I be able to see a crocodile during my stay?
A. Crocodiles are territorial creatures. You could take a trip on a crocodile spotting cruise on the Daintree, or alternatively you could spend the day with your hosts who are accredited guides and offer day Safaris into the Daintree and Cape Tribulation. We'll do our best to show you a Crocodile in the wild (from a distance).

Q. Do I need to hire a car?
A. As there are many things to see and do and with the area being quite widespread, it is recommended to have a car - simply to get the most out of your stay in the Tropical North.

Q. Can I swim in the sea?
A. Yes you can, however it is recommended to swim in stinger enclosures at patrolled beaches between the months of November to April. You can also swim at numerous beautiful freshwater gorges and creeks all year round. Your B&B also has a very inviting swimming pool which is at your disposal.
